Christmas Gift Guide For Her

For those of you looking for a little gift inspiration I have put together a gift guide to help give you some ideas for the perfect present this christmas. These gifts are would be great for someone with an interest in beauty and fashion. I have split the gifts into three price ranges to give you ideas if you really want to splash out or want a more budget friendly option.

If you know someone who is a lipstick lover the Clarins all about lips gift set is a great option this christmas. It contains a lipstick, two of their amazing natural lip perfectors and a mini lip gloss, all in super wearable shades which would suit most skin tones.

For a girl that has everything why not add an extra special touch to their gift this year by buying them a personalised note book from Noble Macmillan. I am a crazy list maker myself and receiving my own personal notebook would be a wonderful gift this year.

Luxury gifts are my favourite, unfortunately they won't be in my budget this year (or for the next few) but a girl can dream. My favourite out of these has to be the Mulberry handbag. This Hibiscus red colour is new in this season and I don't think Mulberry could have designed in more perfectly.

Bedroom Pinspiration

Ive been searching on Pinterest for the past few months for new home design and it has inspired me to refresh my bedroom. Last summer I swapped bedrooms with my parents and only had time to give it a quick refresh during the move. Now I have had time to work out where things look best and space is used effectively I think its time for a little extra decoration.

Here are my favourite pins which I have taken ideas from.

The pink and gold colour scheme accents plain white walls, and the small personal touches of the photo frames and metallic letters will make your room feel like your own space.

Want to see more of my home ideas, then follow me on Pinterest and check out my Home design board.

On Thursday I will be posting part two of my room redesign which will include photos of how my room looks now. Make sure you check that out to see all the progress.

Company Presents Bloggers Style The Highstreet

Last week I spent the evening at Company Presents Bloggers Style The Highstreet Fashion Show. The evening was a fantastic excuse to meet up with fellow bloggers whilst enjoying a night filled with the latest fashion trends.

Performance by the talented Nina Nesbit.

The catwalk show was split by retailers, each of which had been styled by a blogger. The outfits wore are all available in stores now so it was a great way to see what brands have on offer this Autumn.

Here are my favourite looks from the show. If you want to see all the looks that were shown check them out here.

As well as the catwalk there was a variety of activities to do before and after the show. I went with the lovely Sam from Beautifie and Siana from SianaWestley into the Impulse Photo Booth for quick posing session.

At the ned of the night we very given our goody bags, heres a peak at what I got. I have to say it was a pretty awesome one, with a great selection of products.

Makeup Revolution Review

Makeup Revolution is supposed to be a great makeup brand which produce high quality products with a low price tag. I decided to get myself a few bits from their collection to see how they measured up.

The first products I went for were the Ultra Face Base Primer £5 and the Ultra Face Base Foundation £3. The primer is a nice light weight formula which feels silicon based in texture. It glides over the skin without feeling like it clogs up your pours. As it is a clear product it doesn't cause any colour or add any shimmer to your foundation, which means you can use it under pretty much any makeup.

The Ultra Face Base Foundation is supposed to be a BB cream Foundation which is ultra long lasting. I found that this gives very light overage but isn't very buildable. It is nice if you are happy with a very light base with a small hint of colour but I think it would be better described as a tinted moisturiser. The coverage that it gave did last the whole day which means it lives up to its ultra long lasting name.

The Focus and Fix Brow Kit in Light - Medium is one of my favourite products by Makeup Revolution costing only £2.50! This cute little kit comes complete with 3 brow shades, setting wax, tweezers and an angled brush. Its a super kit that contains everything you need for perfect brows all in one place. It is also small and compact enough to carry in your handbag so you can maintain your brows on the go.

Ultra Blush and Contour Palette in Sugar and Spice £6. For all blush lovers out there this is your dream palette, it has 6 highly pigmented matte blushes and 2 shimmery blush shades. The shimmery shades look very similar to the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blushes but have a higher pigmentation.

Here is my makeup look using all the products above as well as the Naked 2 eyeshadow palette on my eyes, Illamasqua lipstick and Bourjois liquid eyeliner and mascara. My eyebrows look very warm (gingery) toned in this photo but they didn't look like that in reality, incase anyone is worried the brow kit will give a warm finish. The brow kit is actually more on the cool toned side so I don't know what happened here.

Makeup Revolution is available to purchase online here and is now being sold in most Superdrug stores in the UK.
